The Land
Olive Grove by the Stream
Ancient olives leaning over shallow water in the Galilee — the trunks braided by centuries, the leaves that particular silver-green that only olive trees hold. Part of an ongoing series in which Rivky asks what it means for a tree to have witnessed a thousand years.
Old olives gathered along a slow stream, their trunks written with centuries of the land.
